Club Committee

Yvonne was elected to the Committee in 2007.

Prior to her involvement with the Pakenham Racing Club, Yvonne was CEO of the Cranbourne Turf Club for 23 years. Her appointment as Secretary (CEO) back in January 1982 was considered to be groundbreaking. She was only the second female to take on the role, following the lead of Helen Cantwell at Sale.

During this time Yvonne was involved in securing the land and subsequent building of the Cranbourne Training Complex. It was the largest training centre in the Southern Hemisphere and Yvonne also served as Secretary of the Cranbourne Training Complex Committee of Management and administered that day to day operations of the Training Complex.

Yvonne is a member of the Victorian Wakeful Club and has served on the Committee at the Upper Beaconsfield Cricket Club.

Yvonne’s key focus is to improve both the value of being a PRC member and the contribution the Club makes to the community and racing industry.
